So many good reasons to go to therapy 🥰

What have you found to be the most helpful reason to go to therapy?

For me it is 10/10 C.

I always tell clients that progress is a lot like paper towels 🧻

You know when you get out a fresh roll of paper towels and pull one sheet off and the roll still looks JUST THE SAME…

But you don’t just assume there is something wrong with the paper towel roll and throws it away…
You KEEP USING IT 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Eventually you get towards the end of the roll and you pull a single sheet off and that one sheet removed half the remaining paper 🤯

That’s a lot like the change process in therapy! At first it may feel like nothing is happening and you feel like you don’t see much change. But, if you stick with it and keep working each session starts to feel more and more fruitful!

⚠️Feeling like your attempts to connect with your partner hit a dead end?
It happens to the best of us!

Strong relationships need open communication, especially when emotions run high.
That’s where I can help as your couples therapist.

💪🏻Let’s ditch the frustration and build a secure emotional connection using Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT).

EFT talks about responding to your partner using three key areas:

✨ **Accessibility:** Being there when they reach out for you.
✨ **Responsiveness:** Truly listening and offering support, even when you disagree.
✨ **Engagement:** Creating new ways to connect and offer the comfort and security your partner craves.

Imagine feeling truly seen and understood by your significant other. That’s the power of EFT! ✨

**Save this post** as a reminder that a fulfilling connection is within reach. And if you’re in Texas, let’s chat and see if we’d be a good fit to help you build that strong foundation.
