I can’t believe
Dave Ramsey said this.

I was listening to Ramsey being interviewed recently ,

I like most people ,
have a love hate relationship with Dave.

I agree with a whole
lot of what he says.

He keeps it very simple.

The problem I have with him is that he doesn’t talk about good debt.

And how good debt
is the greatest wealth builder on earth.

It’s how you get ahead.

The truth is
I think he short changes his audience.

I think we are smarter
and more capable than he gives us credit for
if we are just educated.

That’s what I’m
here to do.

But he said something
in this interview that landed with me ,

“Before you buy something ask yourself ,
If nobody knew I had this would I still want it” ???

WOW !!!!!!!!!

That’ll hit you between
the eyes.

Credit is an
AMAZING tool.

I’ll debate the smartest economist or financial planner on the planet about that and win the debate easily.

And I’m not that smart.

BUT the biggest thing people do when it comes to credit is over borrow to keep up with the Jones.

We worry too much about what our neighbors and the people at work think.

If you think to yourself when you buy something with credit ,

“Is spending this dollar going to help me earn more dollars ?”

Credit is your best friend.

Not an exciting
conversation for
a Monday morning.

I get it.

But an important one.

purpose has to
be bigger than we are.

That’s why you see
so many celebrities
crash and burn.

I watch people that are
ahead of me and the most common theme I’ve seen
is that they are constantly helping others.

Why ???

They’ve got the money.

They’ve got the things.

They got the clout.

Why are they constantly pouring into other people ???

They do it because
they’ve figured out that’s where the reward is.

That’s what feels the best.

If you are down and
depressed go do something kind for someone and
build them up.
