Nominated by her supervisor, Daisy Contreras, Regina serves as a Registered Nurse in our Immunizations Clinic and was selected for:
• Demonstrating exceptional clinical expertise and going above and beyond for both clinic and client needs.
• Providing compassionate care while also going out of her way to educate clients and being a great advocate for them around vaccine hesitancy.
• Maintaining a positive and professional attitude when assisting with angry parents/clients.

Going somewhere? Depending on where you're going, you might need travel vaccines. Our Immunization Clinic offers all your routine vaccines, travel vaccines for Typhoid and Yellow Fever, and the necessary documentation for travel to certain countries. All are available on a walk-in basis Monday-Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

GRILLING SAFETY: Use a food thermometer to ensure meat is cooked hot enough to kill harmful germs. When smoking meat, keep the smoker temperature at 225°F to 300°F to keep the meat at a safe internal temperature while it cooks.

Groceries: Central Texas Food Bank drive-through food pantry is every 4th Saturday of the month from 10 -11 a.m. at 225 W Waco Dr (Waco-McLennan Public Health parking lot).

Groceries: Carver Park Baptist Church walk-through food pantry operates on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of every month from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. at 1020 Herring Ave.

Rent, Food, Toiletries, & Transportation for residents in 76705 & 76640: Tri-Cities Ministries is open every Tuesday from 10 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. at 1301 Hogan Ln.
