The Children’s Autism Program is a separate grant program run by Texas Health and Human Services (HHSC) for families who often do not have other coverage. It is separate from Medicaid and private insurance. While Thrive Behavioral Consulting is not currently a provider of this program, potential cuts to this program may effect families in desperate need of these services.

A proposed elimination of state funding for the Children's Autism Program has Waco providers concerned about the future of affordable autism therapy.
