This gentleman in his 40s consulted with Dr. Guy to address excess fullness and skin laxity beneath the chin. Dr. Guy performed an in-office direct neck excision, a procedure that tightens the neck through an incision under the chin extending down the neck.

Unlike a traditional neck lift, which places incisions behind the ears, a direct neck excision is often performed on men as the resulting scar can be more easily concealed by facial hair.
