If you want to survive this transition without gaining a bunch of weight that goes into your visa, you must do the following:
1) lift heavy weights and eat enough protein to support muscle growth
2) pay attention to your gut. Get plenty of sleep, decrease your sugar, eat plenty of fiber, full fat Greek yogurt. You get the idea. Eat Whole Foods and layoff of the highly processed stuff
3) you should seriously consider estrogen therapy and this is even more important as your estrogen levels start to decrease during perimenopause. Those people who check a random estradiol level when you’re in Perimenopause and tell you you don’t need any because you still have estradiol are literally playing a part in helping you gain weight and deposit body fat in dangerous places. Quit listening to them.
