Before August comes to a close, we want to celebrate a very special work anniversary! 💙

Thirty years ago this month, Sonya Wilson joined our Waco team. And for three decades, she has been a constant source of compassion, encouragement, and joy.

As our Volunteer Coordinator, Sonya plays a vital role in making sure our patients and their families receive the support they need. But to those who know her, she’s so much more than her title. If you've ever served alongside Sonya, you know she brings energy, laughter, and encouragement wherever she goes. Her compassion reflects the very heart of who we are.

As our organization celebrates 30 years of caring for patients and families, we know we couldn’t have done it without people like Sonya. We are forever grateful for her three decades of dedicated service and all the lives she has touched along the way.

Our CNAs are an invaluable part of hospice care. They spend precious time with patients and families, offering comfort, providing hands-on care, noticing the little things, and often becoming a familiar, trusted presence during some of life’s most important moments.

There is something truly special about the bond that develops between our CNAs, the patients they care for, and the families who welcome them into their lives. That connection is at the heart of what makes hospice care so meaningful.
