Happy Occupational Therapy Month!
I am an occupational therapist. I wear many hats. I possess the small talk of a bartender, the ears of a counselor, the critical thinking skills of an engineer, the hands of a manufacturer, the knowledge of an anatomist, the s***k of a cheerleader, the encouragement of a coach, the patience of a teacher, the compassion of a nurse... No, I won’t help you get a job.
But I will mend HOPE.

Enable INDEPENDENCE.

Quality of life can be severely affected by those struggling with low vision. We want to be sure that members of our community are aware that there are resources available for low vision individuals. See The Good Occupational Therapy And Wellness, LLC offers low vision services and is also working with the Waconia Lions Club to distribute free kits containing vision aids such as large print check ledgers and check templates.
