We would like to congratulate Tessa Stroehl as Benedictine living Community Wahpetonโs 2026 Sr Claudia Living a Legacy Award Winner.
Tessa consistently demonstrates deep respect for residents, families, associates, and community partners through her words, actions, and leadership style. As a registered nurse and manager of the Home Health division, she honors the dignity, autonomy, and unique life experience of each individual she serves, recognizing them not simply as recipients of care, but as persons worthy of compassion, listening, and understanding.
In her interactions with residents and families, Tessa takes time to listen carefully, explain care plans clearly, and respond with empathy and patience. She honors personal preferences, diverse backgrounds, and family dynamics, ensuring individuals feel heard and valued. Families frequently express trust and confidence in her leadership, knowing they will be met with honesty, kindness, and genuine concern.
Tessa shows equal respect for associates by fostering a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and appreciation. She values team members' voices, encourages open dialogue, and supports professional growth. Through humility and fairness, she recognizes the essential contributions of
every team member and creates an environment where associates feel supported and empowered to
provide excellent care. In all she does, Tessa reflects the Benedictine belief that every person has inherent worth.
Tessa is truly deserving of the Sister Claudia Living a Legacy Award. Her leadership reflects the heart of Benedictine ministry and ensures that Sister Claudia's legacy continues through thoughtful, faith-filled service.
Thank you Tessa for all you do at Benedictine Living Community Wahpeton.
