Please join us in celebrating Kathy Crocker, our Sanford Wahpeton Clinic Employee of the Quarter for Q2 2026. This is her second time receiving this recognition.

Kathy was selected from many outstanding nominations, a true reflection of the incredible team we have. She received not one, but two standout Q2 nominations recognizing her dedication and impact.

One highlights her work as an exceptional nurse who consistently goes above and beyond. She trusts her instincts, advocates for her patients and collaborates seamlessly with providers ensuring the best care possible.

The other recognizes her instrumental role in keeping orthopedic care running smoothly during remodeling. She coordinates appointments and imaging across multiple locations, a task that requires extra time, organization and commitment.

After 28 years of dedicated care and commitment, Dr. Patrick Emery is stepping into a well-deserved retirement at the end of this month. His impact on patients, families, and colleagues across the Sanford Wahpeton and Wheaton clinics has been truly remarkable.

Dr. Emery’s compassion, expertise, and steady presence will be deeply missed by all who have had the privilege of working with him or receiving his care.

Congratulations to Claire Lagenwalter on being awarded a $1,000 scholarship at the Wahpeton High School Awards Night on May 13!

This special scholarship was presented by Nurse Practitioner Brooke Hills, on behalf of Sanford Wahpeton, recognizing Claire’s hard work, dedication, and bright future ahead. Claire plans to pursue a Radiologic and Imaging Sciences program at Bismarck State College.

Sanford is proud to support and invest in students like Claire as they pursue their goals and make a difference in their communities. Way to go, Claire!
