Ice cream is usually one of the first foods people think about after oral surgery—but not so fast!

At Kona Center of Facial Surgery, we recommend avoiding dairy products for the first 24 hours after surgery. This is part of our standard post-operative instructions to help support a smooth recovery.

Instead, stick with the foods and drinks listed in your post-op instructions during those first 24 hours. Your favorite scoop will still be there when you're ready for it!

✔️ Spend about 10 seconds on each tooth to make sure every area gets the attention it deserves.

This Father's Day, we're honoring a remarkable father, physician, and pioneer.

Dr. Victor F. Greco dedicated his life to advancing medicine, contributing to some of the earliest developments in open-heart surgery and caring for patients with compassion throughout his career. He also served as the personal physician to boxing legend Muhammad Ali.

His commitment to healing, innovation, and service helped inspire the next generation, including his daughter, Dr. Joan Greco.

Today, we celebrate the fathers, mentors, and role models who shape our lives and leave a lasting impact on future generations.
