I’ve been home since yesterday afternoon. Taking things slowly. I’m glad to be home. Surgery went well. Thank you for all the prayers, well wishes, and messages!!!

This is not how I pictured my 40th birthday to be but here I am.

It’s currently 10:37am Hawaii time as I type this. I’ve been in the hospital since Saturday, 8/29. My birthday. After many tests, an ultrasound, ct scan, and a MRI, it’s been determined that I have a gallstone stuck in my bile duct. As a preventative measure, my gallbladder will be removed as well. Yes, I’m panicking and anxious. I’m trying my best to be positive about things. But I never expected any of this.

Thank you to those who sent prayers, well-wishes, checked in with me, visited me, brought me these beautiful flowers as well as a birthday present. It makes me feel less alone.

Please keep me in your prayers as well as well-wishes as I go about my recovery.

I’m being admitted to the hospital. Gallstones are stuck in my bile duct and it needs to be removed.
