I was overweight by CHOICE! Here’s the deal my beautiful people, most all of our success and or failure doesn’t come from around us, it’s directly a result of our attitudes and actions. It’s so easy to blame the world around us. Events around us do affect us (I got hit and mostly killed by a drunk driver so I know), but the real power comes when we man or woman up. The day you accept responsibility for your life is the day your life starts to change.

Throwback Thursday.
In my old career I was Mr Everything. I had it all figured out and all dialed in. THEN…the unthinkable happened. I was hit and mostly killed by a drunk driver. I restarted the company but it was too hard, I almost had a nervous breakdown and ended up selling the company. I had the incredible opportunity to start all over (Not something you want to do when you are over 50). I looked around for something to do that I could believe in. I want to love and serve people. I’m now in financial services and I’ve found a company that I’m proud to work with. I did a ton of research because I wanted to represent a company that was going to allow me to take care of my people. I’m going to see you again, and I want you to be happy to see me, and I want to be happy to see you.

So I’ve been working out for 3 weeks and this happened…
Here's what nobody tells you about change: at the start, inertia is working AGAINST you. Doesn't matter if it's your body, your bank account, or your marriage — the early days almost never show results. That's exactly when most people quit.
But the law doesn't stop being true just because you can't see it yet. Burn more than you eat, you lose weight. Save more than you spend, you build wealth. Show up for your spouse, you build connection. It's just math — and it's just time.
Push through the start line. That's where the blessing is waiting. 🙌
