This is the scoop on the newest blood test to help diagnose Alzheimer's Disease. Much like a D-Dimer is helpful to point towards blood clots but doesn't fully diagnose it, this new test can point towards Alzheimer's, but more testing would still be needed to confirm the diagnosis. It's a good starting point in diagnosing the cause of early memory loss before moving to brain scans and spinal taps. Interesting read.
