An amazing research piece provided by ChiroUp today! Mounting evidence confirms that chiropractic care can play an important role in reducing opioid exposure among patients with spine-related pain.

These findings follow a 2025 study of more than 216 million patient records, which found that patients receiving chiropractic spinal manipulation were significantly less likely to receive opioid prescriptions and experienced a 71% lower risk of opioid-related adverse drug events.

This week Dr. Wagoner had the opportunity to visit the North Carolina General Assembly with our State Association to meet with legislators and continue advocating for the advancement of the Chiropractic profession here in NC!

We are so grateful for the chance to have important conversations about healthcare, patient access, and the future of Chiropractic care in our state. A special thank you to Senator Muhammad and everyone else who took the time to meet with us.

It is such an honor to represent both our patients and the Chiropractic profession as we work toward a stronger future for Chiropractic care across North Carolina!
