Remembering Jayden - A Family's Journey in Coping with Loss to CDH Jayden Scott Gilbert's CDH Journey and his Family's Support of CDH International / CHERUBS in His Memory

Jayden Scott Gilbert was diagnosed with Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH) on October 19, 2009, our personal "CDH Awareness Day" at 17 weeks old. His CDH was severe & his chances were thought to be 30-50% at best. His mom fought hard to get him as close to the due date and almost died in the process, and he fought hard against CDH & a kidney disorder, but after 23 days he lost his battle. He wa

s buried on what would have been his 1 month birthday. His family has joined CHERUBS and other CDH families to help the effort to raise CDH awareness and fundraise to support families battling CDH and to raise research funds to find the cause of CDH and ways to slow or stop it!

Mommy and Grandma have an announcement. Jayden is going to be helping his fellow Cherubs by telling folks about CDH in a new way... Presenting our angel Jayden (in a Bitmoji) as we think he might look at age 7! !

He may not be here on earth but his spirit is with us always. Through this new outreach we hope Jayden can help many more learn about CDH and how important it is to "Help Save the Cherubs"!
