Today, my heart is overflowing with gratitude. As I reflect on this season of thanks, I can’t help but feel overwhelmed by the incredible community we’ve built together at the YOGA loft. This space is more than just a studio—it’s a place where connection, growth, and support thrive, and that’s because of each and every one of you.

Your presence, your energy, and the love you bring into this space have created something truly special. Words honestly can’t express how thankful I am for all of you—the trust you’ve placed in me, the way you show up for yourselves, and the way you inspire me daily.

The YOGA loft wouldn’t be what it is without this community, and my heart is so full knowing we’ve created this together. Whether you’ve been here since the beginning or just joined us recently, please know how deeply appreciated you are.

From the bottom of my heart—thank you. Thank you for believing in this vision, for showing up, for sharing your light. I am so grateful for this journey we’re on together, and I can’t wait to see where it takes us.

Every time I step into this space, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude. It’s a dream come true to teach and practice here, surrounded by such amazing energy. Join Kara for a lively, 60-minute FREE community class that’s all about discovering the power of blocks in your practice! Whether you bring your own or use ours, we’ll dive into creative ways to use blocks for added support, stability, alignment, and range of motion. This class is perfect for anyone curious about enhancing poses with props in fun, accessible ways.

Come ready to experiment, ask questions, and maybe even wobble a little as we explore new techniques with these versatile tools! Expect plenty of laughter, a strong sense of community, and a chance to connect with your body in fresh, exciting ways.

This class welcomes all levels. Please note, it’s not a flow-style class. We’ll start with a gentle warm-up, focusing on specific poses with blocks, and if time allows, finish with a brief savasana.

The past few days have been a reminder of how complex, powerful, and deeply emotional it is to be a woman. We carry so much within us—dreams, resilience, love, and sometimes, pain. We navigate a world that often pulls us in many directions, yet we keep moving forward, stronger than we were before.

Being a woman today means honoring that complexity, embracing both our strength and our tenderness. It’s about showing up, not just for ourselves, but for each other. I think of my daughters and the world they’re growing into. I want them to know they’re stepping into a community that supports and uplifts them, where they can find their own voices and create lives that feel true to who they are.

Let’s continue to build each other up, to remind every woman—our friends, our sisters, our daughters—that they are seen, they are valued, and they have the power to make a difference. When we stand together, when we lead with open hearts, we create a legacy of love, strength, and support.

We’re excited to introduce Nicole Bayer to our community! Nicole is an experienced E-RYT 500 yoga instructor and licensed massage therapist with a deep focus on mental healing and mindful living. Alongside her role teaching massage therapy at Durham Technical Community College, she runs a small practice in Raleigh, NC. With certifications in meditation, breathwork, Thai massage, and specialized training in yoga for trauma, Nicole’s approach combines traditional and modern methods to support holistic health. Join us for her transformative 75-minute Yin Yoga class every Friday at 6 PM!

We’re thrilled to share our new schedule, starting Tuesday! This season invites us to explore balance and renewal, and our classes are designed to help you flow with these changes:

✨ Tuesdays & Thursdays:

• 5:30 PM – PiYo Fusion (45 mins): Get energized with this dynamic blend of Pilates and yoga

• 6:30 PM (Tuesdays) – Flow & Align Chakra Yoga Series: Over the next seven weeks, this series will take you through each chakra individually, aligning with the season’s invitation to look within. We’ll wrap up in December with a beautiful workshop to bring it all together.

• 6:30 PM (Thursdays) – Flow to Meditate (75 mins): Unwind and explore inner peace with this deeply grounding practice.

🧘 Special Lofty Yin Yoga – Fridays, November 8 & November 22 at 6 PM (75 mins) Join us for calming Yin Yoga, led by our newest instructor, Nicole. Stay tuned for her bio—she’s amazing, and we can’t wait for you to meet her!
