From steam engines to fusion ignition
The first full-scale steam-powered locomotive ran on rails in Wales in 1804. It was a major breakthrough—dramatically improving efficiency by moving people and goods from point A to point B with far less effort than before.
Fast forward to 2022, when the National Ignition Facility in the U.S. achieved fusion ignition—producing more energy than was required to heat the fuel itself.
From steam engines to fusion ignition, innovation has always been about one thing:
