Thereโs something about a rainy Rhode Island day that invites us to slow downโ๏ธ With the norโeaster bringing plenty of rain our way, we hope everyone is staying dry, safe, and cozy at home! Days like today give us permission to move a little slower โ to rest, tackle something around the house weโve been putting off, make a warm meal, or simply enjoy the comfort of being home.
It also has us thinking about what a privilege it is to be welcomed into someone elseโs home. Every home tells a story. The photos and decor, the familiar routines, the favorite chair, the little traditions, and all the details that make a space uniquely theirs๐ค
This photo is from the home of one of our patients. Each time we visit, she prepares breakfast or a snack for us to share. We sit together, eat, talk, laugh, and simply enjoy each otherโs company. It may seem like a small gesture, but these are the moments we look forward to more than you might think!
