Celebrating 250 Years of Freedom!
What a wonderful week we had celebrating America's 250th Anniversary! We had a week filled with patriotic fun, music, treats, picnic on the patio, wheelchair/walker wash and a parade.

Residents enjoyed a lovely evening to the lake, where they shared a picnic and took in the calm, scenic views.

Wakonda Heritage Manor is proud to recognize two exceptional members of our nursing team, Jennifer Pelowski, LPN, and Deidre Arrow, LPN, who have been awarded the Dakota Build Scholarship to further their education and pursue their Registered Nurse degrees.

Jennifer and Deidre demonstrate dedication, compassion, and professionalism each day as they care for our residents. Their commitment to advancing their nursing education reflects their passion for providing the highest quality care and their desire to continue growing as healthcare professionals.

Through the support of the Dakota Build Scholarship and sponsorship from Wakonda Heritage Manor, they are taking an exciting step forward in their nursing careers. We are honored to invest in their future and grateful for the positive impact they have on our residents, families, and team.
