• Able to maintain dignity and discretion in sensitive situations

• Ability to lift 100 pounds

• Willing to assist with funeral and memorial services

• Interested in helping with transfers and bringing loved ones into our care

• Flexible, as some work may include evenings, weekends, and on-call needs

No funeral service experience? That’s okay. For the right person, we can provide training and guidance. What matters most is character, reliability, and the ability to care for people with kindness and respect.

💙 The "Big Grief Days"

There are some days in grief that we see coming.

A birthday.
An anniversary.
A wedding.
The holidays.
The first day of school.
A family reunion.
A favorite season.

These are often the days we quietly dread. Not because we've forgotten—but because we remember so deeply.

If you're approaching one of those "big grief days," know that it's okay to prepare for it. You don't have to pretend it's just another day.

A few gentle reminders:
🤍 Give yourself permission to feel whatever comes.
🤍 It's okay to change traditions—or create new ones.
🤍 Let someone know you may need a little extra support.
🤍Spend a few quiet moments somewhere that brings you peace, even if it's just your porch or a favorite chair.
🤍 Find a small way to honor your loved one, whether it's lighting a candle, sharing a favorite story, visiting a special place, or simply speaking their name.

There is no "right" way to get through these days. Some will bring tears, others may bring laughter, and many will bring both.

Grief doesn't follow a timeline, and healing doesn't mean forgetting.

🎉 Happy Birthday, Lexi! 🎉

Today we’re celebrating one of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet—our Funeral Director, Lexi!

If you’ve met Lexi, chances are you’ve done a double take. She hears it all the time: “You’re the funeral director?!” While she may look young enough to still get asked for a hall pass, don’t let that fool you. Behind that youthful smile is a compassionate professional with over 8 years in the funeral industry. (Although if you ask Mike, he’ll tell you she’s been here for over two decades… because her dad has been Hall’s legendary grave digger for more than 20 years. 😜)

Lexi is the definition of someone who quietly gets things done. Whether she’s meeting with families, coordinating services, making a little magic happen in the personal care suite, helping behind the scenes, or stepping in wherever she’s needed, she’s the kind of teammate you can always count on. She wears more hats than anyone can keep track of—and somehow makes it all look effortless.

Outside of Hall’s, you’ll usually find Lexi making memories with her family or wandering the aisles of TJ Maxx in search of the next perfect suit jacket. (Let’s be honest… if there’s a cute blazer in the store, she’s going to find it!)

Lexi, thank you for your kindness, your dedication, and the genuine care you show every family who walks through our doors. Your compassion, maturity, and servant’s heart make a difference every single day, and we’re incredibly lucky to have you as part of the Hall’s family.

Today we’re celebrating one of our favorite people at Hall Funeral Homes & Crematory—Trenna Bragg!

If you’ve ever wondered who keeps everything running behind the scenes… there’s a good chance it’s Trenna. She’s our “Swiss Army knife”—the jack of all trades who can jump into just about any role, tackle any task, and somehow always knows exactly what’s needed next. If something needs to get done, you can count on Trenna to stay until the job is finished.

When she’s not helping care for the families we serve, you’ll likely find her doing one of her favorite things—dancing! Whether she’s on the dance floor or helping at the funeral home, she brings energy, positivity, and a smile wherever she goes.
