For almost a year now, Robyn has been a wonderful part of our Boothbay office and our funeral home family. Many in the community already know her through her work as an EMT and her lifelong connection to the Boothbay area, but we’re lucky to see every day just how much care and compassion she brings to everything she does.

Robyn is passionate about helping families through their grief journey and making sure they have the support and resources they need during difficult times. Whether she’s helping families directly, keeping our Boothbay office running smoothly, or adding the cutest seasonal decorations and candy dish to brighten everyone’s day, she always goes the extra mile.

Children may not always grieve with words. Sometimes it comes through play, questions, quiet moments, or big feelings that appear unexpectedly.

Grief in children can look different from grief in adults. It may come in small pieces, over time, and in ways that are easy to miss. Gentle support, patience, and a sense of safety can make all the difference.

Last but not least… we made our final stop of EMS Week at Thomaston Ambulance! 🍕🚑

We’re so grateful for the crews who show up day and night, in every kind of weather, for people on some of their hardest days. Around here, we know a good sense of humor can go a long way in getting through the tough calls — and we’re thankful to work alongside folks who bring both heart and grit to this community.

A little cheese, a little sauce, and a whole lot of appreciation from all of us at Hall Funeral Homes. ❤️

🍕 Pizza with Purpose continues!

Today, we had the pleasure of dropping off some pizza and appreciation to Waldoboro EMS and Central Lincoln County EMS in honor of EMS Week.

We work alongside EMS often, and we know firsthand that their work takes skill, compassion, quick thinking, and a very particular sense of humor to get through some of the hardest days. Around here, that shared humor — plus a little cheese and sauce — goes a long way.

To our friends at Waldoboro EMS and CLC EMS: thank you for showing up for our communities at all hours, in all weather, and in moments when people need steady hands and kind hearts the most.

We work alongside Boothbay Region Ambulance Service often, and we know firsthand the heart, professionalism, and steady presence they bring to our community — usually at moments when people need calm, care, and capable hands the most.

So today, we dropped off a little thank-you in the universal language of appreciation: pizza.

To our friends at Boothbay Region Ambulance Service, thank you for putting up with us, the calls you answer, the care you give, the long shifts you pull, and the way you show up for our neighbors again and again.

Our hearts are with the Searsmont community, the Robbins Lumber family, the firefighters and first responders, investigators, and every family affected by Friday’s devastating fire and explosion.

In moments like this, a small Maine community feels both the weight of loss and the strength of what it means to belong to one another. We think of the firefighter who gave his life in service, those who were injured, those who responded without hesitation, and all who are carrying the shock, grief, and uncertainty that follows a tragedy of this magnitude.

Hall’s has long served families throughout Midcoast Maine, including the communities surrounding Searsmont, and today we simply stand with our neighbors. With compassion. With gratitude. With quiet respect.

To the first responders, medical teams, dispatchers, mutual aid departments, and community members who stepped forward: thank you.

May those grieving feel held.
May those healing be strengthened.
And may this community be reminded that even in the hardest moments, it does not stand alone.
