💚 Today, WestCare Home Health Services had the pleasure of attending the Sustainability in Action Community Resource Fair in Capitol Heights!

We enjoyed connecting with so many seniors, caregivers, families, and community partners while sharing information about our compassionate in-home care services and learning about the many valuable resources available throughout our community.

A heartfelt thank you to Seniors Safe Space and the Town of Capitol Heights for hosting such a meaningful event and bringing organizations together to support the health, well-being, and independence of our seniors.

At WestCare, caregiving is about so much more than helping with daily tasks—it’s about building meaningful relationships and creating lasting memories.

For the past 8 months, Marina has been caring for a special client who has become like family. Together, they’ve enjoyed planting flowers, attending church, sharing meals, watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy!, and spending time outdoors. Through their friendship, Marina has learned the value of patience, kindness, and appreciating life’s simple moments.

We especially loved the video Marina shared of her and her client planting flowers together—a beautiful reminder that companionship and connection are at the heart of great care. 🌼💙

✨ Employee Spotlight: Isa ✨

Today we’re proud to recognize Isa, one of our dedicated WestCare caregivers. For the past nine months, Isa has provided compassionate support and companionship to her 81-year-old client, helping with daily activities while building a meaningful and trusted relationship.

What makes her work special is the genuine connection she shares with her client. From sightseeing and shopping trips to sharing stories, watching favorite television shows, and enjoying walks together, Isa brings joy, comfort, and companionship to every visit.

One of Isa’s favorite parts of caregiving is the trust she has built over time. She even jokes that she can now add “nail technician” to her résumé because she’s the only person her client trusts to do her nails!
