Good morning to everyone,

Just to let everyone know that the phones although better are still struggling because I don’t know if anyone has heard, but there was a massive outage and it was a hacking of medical practices in indiscriminately. The goal of the hack was to get personal information along with financials and medical records. Although I cannot 100% say we were part of that it was quite the coincidence that we lost everything at the same time. We do have a long list to call of patients that left messages and Kayla will be working on that today. Some things in life we just cannot help. We ask for patience and grace while she gets through this entire list of callbacks today.

Thank you all.

Apparently we had a blackout. Well many did. Our parting gift is still no phones. Kayla is able to do some things with ring central and I think a few get through but this is beyond us for sure. Sorry folks. Ugh.

Hello WPPC peeps,
Tomorrow August 26 the actual office is closed. I am still doing telehealth but Sheila is going to fulfill her destiny with the BackstreetBoys. Kayla has a brand new school child and we are all aware of what that was like. On Thursday Sheila will be recovering and Kayla is out for a couple of hours. I of course will be there but our phones will be a bit of an issue. So, leave a message for scheduling for line 1 or canceling. Line 2 is for refills only which I will take care of as I muddle along. It is not ideal but I will do my best as will Deborah on Thursday when she gets in.

On a side note. Both Sheila and I call about labs but if your name is not on the recording I do not leaves a message. My ring central shows differently so you may miss my call. If possible please put your names on the message so that I can leave a little bit more direct reason as to why I’m calling or what I am trying to get done. You can call the office back for clarity if needed, but at least you will get some results perhaps saying your labs looked wonderful. Please make a follow up visit and that sort of thing.

We’re going to get through the next couple of days and if you do need to cancel an appointment and you’ve done it over 24 hours out, you will not be charged a no-show fee for sure. RingCentral allows for me to track all calls and messages. If you do not leave a message, it will not show up correctly so you won’t be able to get credit for that appointment cancellation you must leave your name.

All refills that were in our queue have been done by Sheila so that it is empty for when she is gone. All phone calls that I’ve sent to Sheila to call patients were also called and either messages left or simply a call. I think that this may hold us until Monday or at least until Kayla comes back in the office Thursday morning about 1030.

Thank you all for your understanding. Sometimes life happens.

Hello all,

For all of my patients that have COPD and asthma please stay indoors. I am in Anne Arundel County today and although I was out in this haze yesterday doing Farm chores, Anne Arundel County is very very bad today.

Hello WPPC Peeps,
Time for a gossip and catch up. Poor Tallulah was totaled sadly before the payoff ink barely dried. So, there will be another to do the hauling of all critters living on the land..............but with another car payment. My other half gets to go to the casino once a year for a birthday bang and I have been assured we will be able to pay off everything with the winnings. LOL

Next, Deborah is heading to Africa to meet and greet the children to their family since they have not met. She will be gone for a month and having traveled that flight to Africa I totally get why. She will then come back and work for a month then will be doing hopefully a telehealth day while she continues her other job in pediatrics. There will be some schedule changes and adjustment while I revamp the schedule to allow for my telehealth and Deborah's since people seem to like the options and so far, insurances have been ok with it as well. These appointments will be for weight loss, lab reviews and refills of medications and not sick visits (although case by case) only. I cannot see an inside of an ear via screen.

In the end, my goal is to keep everyone seen and requests completed. Please know we have 2026 consents if not signed as yet and updating of insurance and especially Medicare so it may seem like a pain but I want the charts to be correct, and our Kayla is taking care of this.

As for me, I do not particularly care for this patience in healing crap. I still have swelling and about 60% range in the wrist. One of the bones is still not connected and most likely will not be but the hardware is doing well. I have differed my annuals because I just cannot manipulate the equipment as yet although trust and believe PT hears my whining twice a week.

So here we are, all caught up. My thought for the day. You are in charge of your health and there are no do overs. It is amazing the differences in culture and food I see when traveling. Although they are not perfect, as I do not see the obesity as we have here. And they have an all-inclusive medical system that works and the government promotes health by walking and bike highways and trains instead of cars. I also do not see fast foods like here. So, find something to keep moving. I have a nut case baby farm with goofball Nigel leading the troops here and I am forced to get those steps in even more in this heat. My record in Poland was about 17k steps while on a gnome hunt in Krakow. LOL

Be patient and as always eat 5 things of color everyday!!!!!!

Hello WPPC peeps,

This is to let everyone know that I have received a call from a family member that was in a car accident. I am at the hospital now with my other half who at the moment I don’t know much about the condition. I know many of you have appointments tomorrow, so please bare with me as I try to navigate how to get everything situated. Worst case scenario I will try to do telehealth for those that I can do it with. My plan at the moment is still be in tomorrow.

Hello all,
Not too long ago I heard of someone or family of someone who dealt with farm gates. I need a new gate at the end of my driveway and a new call box set up. Who was it??? I cannot have my critters running a muck in the village wreaking havoc on the villagers. Amazon sadly broke it. And let’s face it, I cannot climb a fence in a skirt with a healing broken arm and cute shoes. Lol. Let me know who you are or if you know of a gate company.

By the way, phones are working well we hope and Kayla is doing a fabulous job learning the ropes and all of the WPPC peeps.

I will be going to visit a family member who will turn 93 in the next few weeks for a couple of days. She still remembers her un**es and who we all are so there is hope!!!!!!

Hello everyone!

Just a note to let you know that the phone system is down and acting wacky. Phone messages are going to. I don’t even know where and when phones are ringing it’s also going to an abyss somewhere and they’re going to align where they’re not supposed to be. We have contacted RingCentral and they are working on it and I have someone going to the office to actually reboot the phone in the system to see if we can get back up where we are with working phones. As soon as we know, our phone phone lines are back. We will let you know. I’m not sure to be honest where the phone lines are sending calls so if you did call and left a message somewhere, please call back again on Monday or over the weekend and hopefully you can leave an appropriate message and Kayla will be able to check it.

My apologies for any inconvenience go and enjoy this Satan‘s layer weekend of 100°.
