Before serving in the U.S. Army, Mr. Donovan pursued his dream of playing professional baseball and earned the opportunity to play for the Atlanta Braves. While his military service interrupted that journey, his determination and love for the game never faded.

Today, Mr. Donovan shares, “I love the staff and always feel safe and well cared for.”

At Morningside House of St. Charles, we believe the most meaningful things are created together. 💙

Residents and team members came together to create a beautiful community art piece using canvas, paint, and textured spackle techniques. Each flower, petal, and detail was added by different hands, making this artwork a true reflection of our community.

What began as a blank canvas quickly became something much more. It became an opportunity for creativity, conversation, teamwork, and connection. Residents shared ideas, staff lent a helping hand, and together we created something that is uniquely ours.

The finished piece serves as a reminder that every individual brings something special to our community, and when we come together, we create something beautiful.
