Or spent more time deciding what to watch than actually watching something?

You may be experiencing decision fatigue.

Throughout the day, your brain is constantly making decisions—big and small. From answering emails and solving problems to choosing what to wear or what to eat, every choice requires mental energy.

As that energy decreases, even simple decisions can start to feel overwhelming.

Common signs of decision fatigue include:

Depression doesn’t always look like sadness. 🌧️🖤

Sometimes it looks like:
• smiling while feeling emotionally exhausted
• isolating yourself quietly
• losing motivation for things you once loved
• feeling numb instead of emotional
• struggling silently while still functioning every day

Many people believe they have to completely “fall apart” for their mental health struggles to be valid.

But emotional pain is still real — even when nobody else can see it.

You never truly know what someone is carrying internally.

Be gentle with yourself.

This Memorial Day, we honor the brave individuals who served our country — and we also recognize the emotional battles many continue to face long after returning home.

PTSD, anxiety, depression, emotional exhaustion, grief… mental health matters too.

Healing is not weakness.
Rest is not weakness.
Asking for support is not weakness.

Today is a reminder to check on the people who seem “strong enough” to carry everything alone.

Sometimes your mind stays stuck in survival mode even when the day is supposed to be restful. 🌙

So tonight, try giving yourself a softer ending to the week:
