Happy Homecoming week to the North Border Eagles from our residents. Kudos to the girls volleyball team earlier this week for giving it a valiant effort against the Tornados. Good luck to the football team tonight as they take on Nelson County. Go Eagles!!!!

Well, the NFL season is underway which means Richard and I are at odds as to which team is superior… Vikings or the Bears. Unfortunately the Vikings beat the Bears yesterday 😭 So, now Richard is not only happy about his victory, but he’s also looking forward to the pizza party he won in our bet. No worries for my fellow bears fans, we will get our revenge come January!!!

Yesterday the Evergreen Grove Zoo came for a visit. It was such a beautiful day and a fun filled afternoon! Everyone’s favorite was hugs from Moki (alpaca/llama cross)

Yesterday was National Senior Citizen Day… thank you to The Cure for celebrating our residents by sending them all a sweet treat 💕 The cookies were a huge hit!

Congratulations to the winners of our quilt raffle. A huge thank you to Teresa Belanus for making and donating the beautiful quilts and to everyone who purchased tickets! We raised over $900!

Thank you to Stacie Metelmann for donating fresh sweet corn, cucumbers, and potatoes for our residents to enjoy. They had them today, and absolutely loved it all!
