Kathlyn Kelly LeMeunier, age 45, passed away on October 6, 2026, at her home in Jefferson, Louisiana. Born on March 4, 1981, in New Orleans, Kathlyn was a lifelong Louisiana native and a devoted mother, daughter, sister, and friend.

Kathlyn was the daughter of Lawrence Lester LeMeunier and Cynthia Kelly LeMeunier. She was a successful business owner in the historic home renovation business, who devoted much of her life to her son.

Kathlyn leaves behind her beloved son, Dominic Lawrence LeMeunier, her mother, Cynthia Kelly LeMeunier, and her brothers, Nick LeMeunier and Lukas LeMeunier. She was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Lester LeMeunier. She will be deeply missed by her extended family and dear friends, who will cherish her memory and mourn her passing.

A private viewing will be held for immediate family with additional service details to be announced.

Vicky Jeanne McLin Kidwell passed away peacefully at her home on September 30, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 68 years old.

Born on April 15, 1958, to Allen E. McLin and the late Jeanne Wells McLin, Vicky grew up as the daughter of a farmer, where she learned from an early age the importance of hard work, perseverance, and resilience. Those qualities remained a part of who she was throughout her life, serving her well as a dedicated educator, loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Vicky graduated from Ponchatoula High School in 1976 and continued her education at Southeastern University, where she studied biology and chemistry education. With a passion for learning and a gift for teaching, she devoted 19 years of her career to Baton Rouge High School. During her years in the classroom, Vicky shared not only her knowledge of science but also her dedication, patience, and encouragement with generations of students.

On April 5, 1980, Vicky married the love of her life, James Kidwell III, in Ponchatoula, Louisiana. Over the next 46 years, they raised four children and built a life centered around love, family, and many cherished memories.

Vicky also found happiness in the beauty and quiet pleasures of nature. She loved gardening and bird watching and especially enjoyed watching the many birds that visited the special feeder positioned outside her window. She carried a sharp wit but an even greater capacity to laugh at herself;...

In loving memory of Jackie Lynn Goudeau, who departed this world on September 28, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, warmth, and kindness. Jackie was born on February 4, 1959, in Palo Alto, California. She was the beloved daughter of the late Maedean Slaven, the late Rodney Slaven, and her cherished Daddy, Gerald McAllister.

Jackie was a native of Kentwood but resided in Independence, Louisiana.

Jackie's life was a vivid tapestry woven with love and laughter, deeply touched by her enduring marriage to her devoted spouse, Tim Goudeau. Together, they built a life including their only son Keith Strickland and his wife Krystal. They've embraced the delight of being grandparents to Lillian, Abigail, Roseanna, Ryker, and Jasper. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

Jackie's life was also enriched by the presence of her siblings and her large extended family and friends, Terry Covington, Rodney McAllister and wife Jennifer, David McAllister, John McAllister, Ren'a McAllister, Jonathan Johnson and wife Theresa, Ashley McAllister, and Toyua Oalmann and husband Jimmy. Together, they shared countless memories and a bond that was unbreakable.

Her best friend of over fifty years, Irene Rome, and her beloved chihuahua, TJ, were also constants in her life, providing companionship and love through the years.

Etta Mae Oehler, born December 11, 1941, to John Caldwell and Marietta Caldwell, passed away at her home in Walker, La, on Saturday, September 26, 2026. Etta was a devoted wife, loving caretaker, and a woman whose heart was always open to those around her. Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing Etta knew they would be cared for as though they were her very own. She had a special way of making people feel loved, safe, and at home. Her kindness, compassion, and unwavering devotion to her family and loved ones will be deeply missed. Etta leaves behind a legacy of love and care that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Etta is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Fred Oehler; her two kids, Tammy Lane and Fred Oehler, Jr; her grandchildren, Shannon Hewitt, Rachel Oehler, Cody Short, Corrie Broomall, and Fred Oehler, III; Five great grandchildren; as well as numerous other loved ones and friends. Roxanne Wright Stoehr, born in New Orleans on July 27, 1952, died on September 9, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. A lifelong Presbyterian, she grew up in Lakeview and attended St. Martin's Episcopal High School. Her love from an early age was acting, participating in the NORD Theater program and playing leading roles in many shows from Shakespeare to Oscar Wilde, including performances in Tulane Summer Lyric Theatre. After graduating from Newcomb College of Tulane University in Theater, she moved to New York City where she had an exciting stint in the highly competitive theatre industry, performing in several Off-Broadway and regional plays. She returned to New Orleans to earn a graduate degree in Speech Pathology from LSU Health Sciences School of Public Health.

After marrying her beloved husband Jan while living in Indiana and giving birth to her son Hunter in North Carolina, Roxanne returned to Louisiana to use her advanced degree as a speech-language pathologist and instructor at Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, where she made a meaningful impact on her students' lives. Upon retirement after her 25 year career, Roxanne and Jan moved to Black Mountain, North Carolina. There, she continued to teach as a licensed yoga and mindfulness instructor. Tristan John Broussard, affectionately known as "Monkey Man," died peacefully at his home in Walker, Louisiana, surrounded by family and friends on September 18, 2026, at the age of 14. Tristan is survived by his mother, Jennifer White Broussard; his father, Jason Holmes; his brother, Christopher Broussard; his sisters, Ashlyn Holmes and Stella White; his grandmothers, Kathy Duke and Virginia White; his grandfather, Chuck White; his nana, Lynn Walker; her children, Will Fletcher, Cody Fletcher, and Sarah Fletcher, and their children; his uncle, J.D. White; his aunt, Stephanie Conrad; and many cousins, as well as numerous other loving family members and friends. Tristan was born on June 2, 2012, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to Jennifer and Jason. He attended Levi Milton Elementary, where he was dearly loved by the staff and students, especially Ashtyn Cooksey, Amanda Roberts, and Shae McDaniel. She graduated from Central Private School and attended Louisiana State University. She had a love for sports, especially basketball, and enjoyed spending time outdoors. She had a special place in her heart for animals of all kinds and greatly adored her nieces and nephews. Above all, she treasured time spent with her family.
