I have been putting off posting about this because my heart is so deeply, and what feels irrevocably, broken.
I rushed Hamlet to the emergency last Tuesday. They discovered a hermangiosarcoma on the R atrium of his heart. We lost him this past Saturday. It was quick and on his own terms.
In his finally days, he was his fresh, sweet, sassy and snuggly self and did not suffer. I knew the prognosis, but thought we would have more time. We spent Friday morning on the beach and Saturday we spent the whole day snuggling and doing normal lazy day activities.
