☀️ DID YOU KNOW?
Some medications can make your skin more sensitive to sunlight, increasing your risk of sunburn or other skin reactions.
Certain antibiotics, diuretics, acne medications, and other commonly used medicines may cause sun sensitivity.
If you’re taking medication:
✔️ Check the label for sun-exposure warnings
✔️ Use broad-spectrum sunscreen
✔️ Wear protective clothing when outdoors
✔️ Ask your pharmacist or healthcare provider if you’re unsure
Don’t stop taking a medication because of sun sensitivity without first talking with your healthcare provider.
A little knowledge can help you enjoy the sunshine safely. 💙
