One of the fun parts of working in senior living is that it gives us creative ideas for a staff field-day! We had a hand-washing competition, PPE race, a N-95 masked 3-legged race, and other care-related games! We even had a "rooster wash" game where we sprayed all of our decorative roosters down.
We love getting to celebrate our staff and treat them to some ice cream!

Walla Walla is known for many things including its rich history!
We got to spend the day at the Whitman Mission site, enjoying a picnic, watching a documentary, and taking guided walks with park rangers. The weather must have heard we were coming and gave us a beautiful day!

It's fiesta time!
We celebrated Cinco de Mayo with some authentic Mexican food, virgin margaritas, and some delicious horchata. The day ended with a fun and educational "South of the Border"-themed music hour.
Did you know that the Battle of Puebla only lasted 1 day and that's why we celebrate Cinco de Mayo?
