🚨Are you a new parent?🚨Maybe you’re out of the “little” stage with your kids, but still have a burning desire to be a better husband and father?🙋🏼‍♂️ Do you need to make multiple trips when bringing groceries inside for your wife (it takes one trip gentlemen💪🏼)? Or do you have a high school aged child who is sneaking out regularly and you’re too sleepy to catch them? 🥷Consistency with training can be hard during these phases of life. Finding exercises that improve or assist you in your Dad journey can be challenging. 🏋️

Fortunately, here our very own and his wonderful wife are expecting their 1st child here within days. He’s been training hard over the past months to be the best Dad/Husband he can be and has compiled a list of his go-to Dad exercises to help improve your household performances.

FOAM ROLLING 101 🌀
If you’ve ever hopped on a foam roller and wondered, “Is this actually doing anything?” — the answer is YES.
Foam rolling helps you:
👉 Reduce muscle tension
👉 Improve mobility
👉 Boost circulation
👉 Recover faster after workouts
👉 Feel looser + move better throughout the day

How to get the most out of it:
• Breathe through the tight spots
• Spend 30–90 seconds per area
• Don’t roll directly on joints or bones
• Consistency > intensity

If you’re dealing with stubborn tightness, pain that keeps coming back, or mobility that just won’t improve — foam rolling is a great tool, but it’s not the whole solution.

As we roll into Thanksgiving and the completion of another 10 week cycle with the Elite Athletic Development squad I wanted to post these DAWGs and let you all know how much you are appreciated. This also goes to all my past kids who’ve moved on as well. I think about each and every one of you more than you know and will always be here for you all. 

I feel so fortunate to be around you guys and gals. You fill my cup up more than you know. It’s a real pleasure to watch you all show up in the wee hours of the AM and flat grind to be the best versions of yourselves. Everyone’s journey is different and unique, but it’s always a powerful thing to watch you all support and push each other in this environment. I got the easy job, I just tell you what to do. You guys are the ones that put in the work to chase your respective dreams. It brings me so much joy watching you guys succeed, but it brings me more joy knowing how damn hard you worked to get there. Plenty of people get to watch you succeed at your respective sports when you hit the field of play, but I get to watch the “behind the scenes” work that you put in to show those successes to the world. I do NOT take that for granted and love being a background guy. Everyone that’s been in my program knows that I really only care about 2 things: you respect each other and you work your ass off. It sounds simple, but it’s not easy to show up every day and light this gym up. I’m so thankful for you all, past and present. I feel so lucky to be part of your athletic journey, but I’m more thankful that you all let me in on your lives. The struggles, the highs, the lows, all of it.  That’s the magic in this for me. Most of you won’t make money playing whatever sport you do, but I sure hope you take the skills you learn in the weight room and make “your world” a better one.
