August is Medical Alert Awareness Month.

Being prepared can make all the difference during an emergency. Medical IDs and alert systems provide first responders with vital health information when it matters most, helping ensure timely and appropriate care.

According to the MedicAlert Foundation, medical alert systems help save more than four million lives each year.

Whether it's a medical ID bracelet, a smartphone medical ID, or an emergency alert device, these tools offer added peace of mind—especially for older adults and individuals living with chronic conditions such as diabetes, epilepsy, asthma, or heart disease.

Take a simple step toward safety. Stay informed, stay prepared, and learn more at MedicAlert.org.
