Bone health is critical to maintain as we age. Peak bone mass occurs around age 30 and then there’s a slow decline after that with a progressive loss after menopause unless we do something about it. Here are three things to incorporate into your healthy habits.

1. Progressively weight train 2 to 3 times a week and get help if needed. I have been working out at home and I love the flexibility and ability to wear whatever I want at whatever time.
2. Get some Impact on a weekly basis. Aim to impact your bones three days a week with jumping, hopping, side jumps, stomping, heel drops.
3. Make sure you’re getting enough calcium and vitamin D on a daily basis through diet or supplements of as needed. I take very few supplements myself, but do take a daily calcium.

I’m walking for my mom Dolly Carolyn.

Link in bio to donate. My team goal is $10k and my peril goal is $7500. This money will go towards helping find better treatments to slow dementia progression and hopefully a cure someday so millions don’t have to suffer needlessly - the patient and their families.

Caregivers are super expensive. So are nursing homes. Trainers are cheaper. Weights are cheaper. A wheelchair may be covered by insurance but being in a wheelchair is not fun. My online workout program is $129 PER YEAR!! It’s not expensive to stay fit. It’s expensive not to.

Imagine Finding Nemo and all the variety of fish, coral and sea life and that’s what the reef is like in the Maldives. I’ve swam with lots of reef sharks and mantas. Not so scary. They don’t want anything to do with us. The big find was a whale shark. What a gentle giant!! I’ve met some nice people at - an inclusive dive hotel. Lovely owner and dive crew! Feel very safe and taken care of. Highly recommend.

In May I learned about a program .japan to travel around the world using travel points. I was able to use less points to travel to 4 countries over 4 weeks as one round trip ticket. Woo hoo! So off I go on Friday. Is this something you would aspire to do? I hadn’t really thought of literally circumnavigating the globe but I wanted to take advantage of the deal while it existed. Where would you go?
