You can spend four hours hacking at a tree with a dull axe. Or one hour sharpening it — and drop the tree in a single swing.

Most couples choose the dull axe. Not because they're lazy, but because slowing down to get on the same page feels like a waste of an hour they don't have.

That hour **IS** the work. It's what makes the other four possible.

Stop brute-forcing your marriage. Sharpen the axe.

The teen years ask a lot — of them, and of you. We put together an honest, no-pressure read on it:
“What's the difference between teen counseling and therapy for adults?”
If any of this resonates, you're not alone — and you don't have to sort it out by yourself.

Growing up, I was basically the only Asian kid in my neighborhood. I got made fun of for being short and having small eyes, and for a long time, I felt like I didn’t fit in. I wished I was white, popular, and athletic like the “cool kids,” so focused on what made me different that I couldn’t see the value in who I was.

Then I started learning about my Taiwanese and Chinese culture — the food, philosophy, and art. Over time, I became proud to be Asian American and learned to show up unapologetically, knowing my identity had something special to offer.

Later, joining the army and meeting people from all walks of life deepened my appreciation for different perspectives and ways of living.

That’s why authenticity matters so much to me. We all bring something unique to the table — and the world misses out when we hide it.

That’s why I’m building the Authenticity Movement: for people who want to keep it real, choose better, grow, and live more fully as themselves.

If that resonates, follow along, share your story, and let’s show the world what authenticity really looks like.

Gratitude is more than saying "thank you"-it's a simple practice that can support your mental and emotional well-being. Taking time to notice what's going well can help reduce stress, boost your mood, and build resilience.

Try these small daily habits:
➜ Write down three things you're grateful for.
➜ Tell someone you appreciate them.
➜ Pause to notice a positive moment.
➜ Reflect on something you've learned from a challenge.

Gratitude doesn't erase life's difficulties-it simply helps you make room for the good alongside them.

I used to wish I was someone else.

Growing up as the only Asian kid in my neighborhood, I got made fun of for being short and having small eyes. I wished I was white, popular, and athletic like the “cool kids.”

I was so focused on what made me different that I couldn’t see the value in who I was.

Then I got to know my own culture — the food, philosophy, and art — and something shifted. I stopped apologizing for the part of me I once wanted to hide.

The thing that makes you different? That might be the thing you have most to offer.

👇 Follow the Authenticity Movement and tell me: what’s something about yourself you finally stopped hiding?

Have you ever noticed how quickly a single thought can shape your entire day?

The first thought that comes to mind isn't always the one you need to follow. Sometimes it's driven by stress, fear, or old habits. Instead of reacting immediately, try creating a little space between the thought and your response.

That pause can help you respond with intention instead of impulse.

Over time, practicing this skill can improve emotional resilience, strengthen self-awareness, and help you navigate challenges with greater confidence.

✨ You may not control every thought that enters your mind, but you can choose which ones deserve your attention.
