Learning looks a little different at Alameda Care Hospice! 💜

Our annual Competency Fair got a Monopoly-inspired twist this year! From clinical skills and emergency preparedness to documentation, infection control, patient safety, and more, our team spent time learning, practicing, and strengthening the skills that support the care we provide every day.

Because exceptional hospice care doesn’t happen by chance. It comes from a team committed to continuing to learn, grow, and show up prepared for the patients and families who trust us with their care.

We’re incredibly proud of our ACH team for bringing their energy, teamwork, and a little friendly competition to this year’s fair!

Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their courage, sacrifice, and dedication will never be forgotten.

At Alameda Care Hospice, we are especially mindful of the veterans and military families we are privileged to serve. Memorial Day is a reminder to cherish the freedoms we have because of those who selflessly protected them.

We hold space today for remembrance, gratitude, and reflection. Honoring the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice and the loved ones who carry their memory forward.

In hospice, you walk alongside patients and families during some of life’s most meaningful and vulnerable moments. You bring comfort when it’s needed most, dignity when it matters most, and a steady presence that never goes unnoticed.

Thank you for the late nights, the quiet reassurances, the gentle care, and the unwavering dedication you give every single day. You don’t just provide care, you create peace, connection, and grace in moments that families will carry with them forever.
