As the day draws to a close, we would like to share this video that was taken in our chow hall from last year. Instead of focusing on the loss of the structure, we are reflecting on the significant connections we have established in our chow hall, and the profound impact that individuals - rather than physical structures.

It has been an emotional day, filled with memories and reflections. Though our chow hall is no longer with us, the purpose it served continues to endure. A purpose that transcends food, classes, and even rehabilitation, but is instead centered on people. By prioritizing the needs of our individuals, we trust that we will persist in thriving and making a lasting difference, thanks to Christ Jesus. We are deeply grateful for your kindness, prayers, and support, and we feel honored to be part of this resilient community. Together, we are committed to driving positive change and empowering one another, and standing on faith that greater things are still to come!

We want to Thank God for the City of Okean, The volunteer fire department, first responders, and the Randolph County Sheriff's Department for everything! It's really awesome the way they showed up in force and showed exactly what community is about!

Heartfelt Update: Finding Hope in the Hardship
​As you can see from the before and after photos, we have suffered a devastating loss. While the present looks grim, we are choosing to look upward. It is in these moments of total uncertainty that God reminds us exactly where our true hope lies.
​Our Priority: Family and Community
We are focused on taking care of our people. We’ve kept our team fed today—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—because even in tragedy, we stay together.
​
We are overwhelmed by the outpouring of love. To everyone who has reached out: thank you. We are truly blessed to live in a community that doesn't just see a need, but immediately asks how they can help build a solution.
​Next Steps
We are currently finding our bearings and organizing a path forward. We will post an update shortly with specific ways you can support us during this time.
​Though we are heartbroken, we are expectant. We cannot wait to see how He moves and what the future holds for us.

Thoughts, Prayers and any help available would be deeply cherished at this challenging time. We woke up at about 12:30 in the morning to discover our chow hall engulfed in flames. Thankfully no one was hurt and everyone is accounted for. We give thanks to God for that! As anyone who has been through our program, has had a family member in our program or had any kind of association with us at all, you realize that this building is much more than a place to eat. Lives have literally been transformed forever, families restored, countless men fed the word of God and countless men lead to salvation because of the ministry that took place in this building for years. A lot of hard work, memories and incredible testimonies all started right here in this building. It truly was the heart of everything we do! Although we are saddened by the loss, we are optimistic about seeing what The LORD has in-store for us as we prepare for a new chapter. Because God isn't done yet!
