🎒 MENTAL HEALTH MONDAY: What’s in Your Mental Backpack?
We all carry a backpack that no one else can see!
Worries. Stress. Expectations. School pressures. Work. Family responsibilities. Fear. Self-doubt.
Sometimes, that backpack gets pretty heavy. ❤️

This Monday, take a moment to ask yourself:
❓️What am I carrying that I don’t need to carry alone?
Talking about it is a great place to start.
💜The Neuro Behavioral Center is here to help.💚

🤔Could TMS Be an Option?
What if there were another option when depression isn’t improving the way you hoped?
The Neuro Behavioral Center offers Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) which is a non-invasive treatment that uses magnetic pulses to stimulate specific areas of the brain involved in mood regulation.
TMS may be an option for people with depression who haven’t experienced the improvement they’re looking for with traditional treatments.
💜Non-invasive
💜No anesthesia
💜Outpatient treatment
There is no one-size-fits-all approach to mental health care. The right treatment depends on the individual, their symptoms, and their treatment history.
If depression is making it difficult to feel like yourself again, talk with a qualified mental health professional about whether TMS may be appropriate for you.
There can be hope beyond the treatment that hasn’t worked.

🌼MENTAL HEALTH MONDAY:
Before you take care of everyone else, take a moment to check in with yourself:

✔️How am I really feeling today?
✔️What has been weighing on me lately?
✔️Have I been getting enough rest?
✔️What do I need more of right now?

You don't have to have all the answers. Sometimes, simply recognizing how you're feeling is the first step toward taking better care of yourself.

💜This Monday, pause. Breathe. Check in.💚

🎒 Back-to-School Stress Is Real — For Kids AND Parents!

As summer winds down and school routines begin again, it’s completely normal for families to feel a little overwhelmed. New schedules, homework, activities, earlier mornings, social pressures and busy calendars can create stress for everyone.

Here are a few ways to make the transition a little easier:

✨ Ease into a routine — Gradually adjust bedtimes and morning routines before the first day.

🗓️ Don’t overschedule — Leave some downtime for kids (and parents!) to decompress.

💬 Talk about feelings — Encourage your child to share what they’re excited or nervous about.

🎒 Prepare ahead — Pack backpacks, choose outfits and organize schedules the night before to reduce morning chaos.

❤️ Make time to connect — Even a few minutes of one-on-one time can help children feel supported.

🌿 Take care of yourself, too — Parents need breaks, rest and support just as much as kids do.

Remember: You don't have to make the back-to-school transition perfect. Give yourself and your children grace as everyone adjusts.

Here’s to a healthy, happy and manageable school year! 🍎📚

📱🌙 Is Your Phone Stealing Your Sleep?

You crawl into bed exhausted… and then reach for your phone “just for a few minutes.” Sound familiar?

Late-night scrolling, notifications, and screen time can make it harder to wind down and get the restful sleep your mind and body need.

🧠 A few things you can try tonight:
• Put your phone away 30–60 minutes before bed
• Turn off unnecessary notifications
• Keep your phone away from your bedside
• Replace scrolling with something calming—reading, stretching, or quiet music
• Give your brain a chance to slow down before you close your eyes

✨ Your mind needs a break, too.

If you're consistently struggling with sleep, anxiety, stress, or feeling mentally exhausted, talking with a mental health professional may help.
💜Tonight, try putting the phone down—and giving yourself permission to unplug.
