I officially gave myself permission to hate cooking. And you know what? I'm not sorry.

Hubby's coworker let him try a meal from this Boston-based meal prep company . He ordered a stack of 10 the next day. I tried the General psos and it had some gooood flavor! But not too much yah know? Not so much that you would get sick of it. The portion was perfectly satisfying, and cost less than the cheapest, healthiest takeout in this area. No more slaving in front of the stove on Sundays when I could be at the park with the girls.

I'm signed up now and already ordered my second set this weekend. So much weight lifted knowing I have all this vartiety of meals each day, in the right portion arriving at my door, cooked fresh, tasting delicious, and I don't have to lift a finger.

That General Psos? 39g protein, 8g fiber, under 400 calories. Winning!!! Don't worry, I got you too. Use code LEVELUP for 30% off your first order. Order before Saturday night at 10pm to get it delivered to your door on Sunday! 🔥

If your workouts feel harder than usual, it might not be you failing. It might be your body carrying stress it has nowhere else to put. 💡

Stress shows up physically in ways we rarely connect to mental load. Tight muscles, broken sleep, slower recovery, less patience for discomfort, random stiffness that makes no sense. These are real symptoms. They affect performance just as much as skipped meals or poor programming.

During high-stress periods, the most useful thing you can do is train at an intensity you can actually recover from. A walk counts. Mobility work counts. Backing off the weight counts. Punishing yourself through a session when your system is already overloaded is not discipline, it is just more stress.

Mental Health Awareness Month is a good reminder that your psychological state and your physical output are not separate conversations. 🧠 How you feel inside the gym is often a direct read on how you are doing outside it.

Have you ever noticed your training suffer during a stressful stretch, and only figured out the real reason after the fact?

"Just breathe." Cool. But WHY? Nobody was explaining the part where your diaphragm is literally a core muscle holding your core together.

Your diaphragm isn't just how you breathe — it stabilizes your entire spine every single time it contracts. When it's tight and dysfunctional, your low back picks up the slack. Nearly 83% of people with chronic neck pain show measurable changes in their breathing pattern.

Weak core → overworked back. Tight diaphragm → weak core. It's a whole chain and most people are treating the last link while ignoring the first. I should know, after the twins and my core fell apart, it changed my whole perspective on how to address the core. Now this is my repackaging for you, hoping it makes more sense for you too!

The next Results & Real Talk newsletter breaks it all down. Real education from the studio. Usable tips, no fluff.

1 in 3 women will deal with a pelvic floor disorder in their lifetime. And 1 in 6 men too.

Leaking when you sneeze. Pelvic pressure. Hip pain that won't quit. A core that won't activate no matter how hard you train.

This isn't a postpartum problem. It's not a women's problem. If you have a pelvic floor — and you do — this is YOUR problem. And it has real solutions.

The next Results & Real Talk newsletter breaks it all down — pelvic floor AND diaphragm dysfunction, what's actually causing it, and what you can do about it. Real education from the studio. Usable tips, no fluff.
