Center for Physical Therapy opened its doors in 1993 with the goal to provide quality care to patients in a comfortable and friendly atmosphere. The dedicated staff helps strengthen patients and leads them through their recovery while" Treating everyone like family" Since 1993 The Center for Physical Therapy supports their patients and the local community including but not limited to Wappinger’s Falls, Poughkeepsie, Fishkill, Beacon, East Fishkill, Hopewell Junction, Red Hook and Rhinebeck with two convenient locations in Wappinger’s Falls and Hyde Park. Our staff is friendly and approachable and we have so much fun interacting with our patients. We offer state of the art fitness equipment, a Wii station and our expert team of 13 highly trained Physical Therapists. Each patient’s individual goal is our priority whether it be to eliminate pain or return to a sport. The programs provided at the Center for Physical Therapy are the essential aspects of the practice. The heated pool features 32 aqua jets and is ideal for those suffering from arthritis, athletic injuries, or neck and back injuries. Five physical therapists specialize in pediatric care, working with children who suffer from developmental disorders.

Our pediatric team had an incredible professional development day with Adaptive Design Hudson Valley!

We collaborated on a mock patient scenario to create a custom adaptive seat for a high chair. The hands-on experience was creative, engaging, and gave our therapists new ideas for helping children participate more fully in everyday activities.

A huge thank you to ADHV for sharing your expertise and for the meaningful work you do throughout our community. As a nonprofit, ADHV creates customized adaptive equipment using affordable materials and provides these solutions free of charge, helping individuals with disabilities participate more fully at home, at school, and in their communities.

Thank you Greg, Casey, and Peter for an amazing day of learning and for all you do for the Hudson Valley!
