We want to share a thank you post to our family and friends within the community that are always thinking of us!
Julie Reinkemeyer came in with her daughter and grand-children to personally hand out flowers to each resident and staff! They planted the flowers themselves, and each one is super unique!
A big thank you from the staff and residents to Vivian and Randy Sandbothe for bringing in some delicious cupcakes for us to enjoy, it is greatly appreciated!
And we had a drop off from one of our neighbors, Jennifer, who brought several bouquets of fresh flowers for us to put around the facility!
Thank you for supporting Auburn Ridge and always thinking of us in this spring/summer season!

Happy Birthday to our Robert! He got to enjoy a nice homestyle meal today and asked his sister, Mary, to enjoy it with him! He picked Fried Catfish, French Fries, Corn, and a Chocolate Pudding Pie for dessert! Very Scrumptious! He was very happy to get a fresh haircut from Phyllis as part of his birthday!
Wishing Robert a very Happy Birthday today and to have a great rest of his week!

Happy Birthday to our Pat! She invited her brother and sister-in-law to join her for her birthday lunch today! She picked Fried Chicken, Mashed Potatoes w/ Gravy, Green Beans, and an Ice Cream Sundae! Absolutely delicious!
She got to enjoy her morning talking with her family and spent her afternoon playing cards with her friends!

Happy Birthday to our Ramona! She got to enjoy a very delicious lunch with two of her grand-daughters, Sam and Jay today! She picked Ham, Sweet Potato Casserole, Green Bean Casserole, a Roll, and Blackberry Cobbler with Ice Cream!
She has had several visitors already today including her grandson and her sister!
We are wishing Ramona a very Happy Birthday today and to enjoy her weekend with her family!

As staff members at Auburn Ridge, we want to share our gratitude and congratulations to a couple of our assistants, Kaden Schulte and Sophie Thessen. They have put in the hard work to graduate high school at Blair Oaks and continue to put in the work and time to be with our residents here! We appreciate them very much and can’t wait to see what they do next!
And speaking of Kaden, Bonnie has asked for a couple of weeks to go see him play baseball and she finally did! She got to see him play at Blair Oaks for their second to last home game and she was so happy!

And we want to show our appreciation to our owners, Scott and Cody, they worked all day Sunday putting up a gazebo on our patio for the residents to get to enjoy some shade while sitting outside or while enjoying our outdoor activities! Thank you both for putting it together for all of us to enjoy when that sun comes back out!

Happy Birthday to our Dotty! Her birthday was on Saturday, but we celebrated today so her family could join her for lunch! She was joined today by her sisters, Freda and Lois, and Walter to enjoy eating Garlic Shrimp Linguine, a House Salad with a copycat Olive Garden Dressing, Green Beans, and a Pineapple Upside Down Cake! Scrumptious!
She then got to enjoy her afternoon with her family and friends gathered at Auburn!

Happy Birthday to our Judy! She was joined today for her birthday lunch by her daughter and granddaughter! She was also joined by her good friends at the facility, Pat and Linda, and all sat together like a big family!
For lunch she chose Lasagna, a Side House Salad, and a Peach Crisp with Ice Cream! So yummy!

Happy Birthday to our Donna! She got to celebrate her birthday lunch today with some of her closest friends and picked Fried Catfish, Sliced Tomatoes, Baked Potatoes, and a Cherry Cobbler with Vanilla Ice Cream to eat! Delicious! She gets to spend the rest of her afternoon with more friends and her family who all brought her homemade desserts to snack on!

Central Dairy!
We celebrated Mother’s Day a little early by having Central Dairy as a dessert for lunch! Each resident got to pick what they wanted from the menu and got to enjoy it with a delicious brunch that Jess made. Jess made a Ham & Spinach Quiche, Hashbrown Casserole, and a slice of Watermelon.

Tina took a couple of the residents, Bonnie and Ramona, to get fresh flowers for the facility at Trinklein’s Greenhouses. They had a lot of fun getting to choose from all the spring colors! And we thank Rudy Lane for the next beautiful indoor bouquet we received this week, the residents absolutely love the colors!

We are wishing all of the Mothers here at Auburn and all of the Mothers within our community to have a wonderful Mother’s Day Weekend!

We want to share a big thank you to the staff at Rudy Lane and our wonderful community for gifting Auburn with some beautiful flowers! The residents absolutely love the smell of them and their beautiful spring colors!
A big shoutout to our owners, Scott and Cody, they enjoyed going to their first MALA conference over the weekend! They still wanted to participate even though our director wasn’t able, and they came back with some goodies for the staff to enjoy!

The residents had a wonderful morning going to the petting zoo that Calvary Lutheran High School had open to the public! They had a creative activity of making colorful pinwheels to put outside their rooms. Bonnie got her nails done for the spring and wanted everyone to see how they turned out! They have done a lot of chair exercises and chair yoga to keep them active this week!
So many fun activities for the residents lately and a big thank you to our community for always supporting Auburn Ridge!
