We grateful to be a co-presenter a Recovery Leadershop Summit 2026

This initiative is strengthened by our work with Oak Ridge Associated Universities and Faces and Voices of Recovery, supported by funding from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), specifically from the Division of Birth Defects and Infant Disorders (DBDID) and the Division of Reproductive Health (DRH). We are thrilled to take the lead in Georgia as a participating orginazation in developing a Pregnancy and Postpartum Continuing Education Certificate Program for the Peer Recovery Workforce (PWF).

This groundbreaking program is designed to enhance the health outcomes for pregnant and postpartum individuals with substance use disorders (SUD), who face disproportionately high risks of adverse pregnancy outcomes, as well as to support the health of their infants.

At **iHOPE INC.**, being a Peer Navigator is about so much more than providing transportation. **Tim helps our peers navigate the road toward a stronger, more sustainable life in recovery.**

Recovery Capital is about building the resources, relationships, opportunities, and support a person needs to **live and thrive in recovery**. Sometimes that means a ride to an appointment. Other times, it means encouragement, advocacy, connecting someone to resources, helping remove barriers—and being there as they take their next big step forward.

Today we're celebrating Tim for helping one of our **peers and returning citizens connect with stable employment!** That job represents more than a paycheck. It can mean greater stability, independence, confidence, purpose, and another important piece of Recovery Capital.
