Werner Behavioral Health Center Offering compassionate, evidence-based mental health care for individuals, couples, and families in Warner Robins, GA

10/09/2026

Hello from Werner Behavioral Health Center! We wanted to let everyone know both of our office locations will be closed Monday, October 12, 2026, through Friday October 15, 2026 (the week of "Fall Break"). The owners of Werner Behavioral truly believe in self-care, not just for patients, but for their staff members as well! For this reason, they will be providing all employed staff a time for respite, relaxation, and rejuvenation for such a well-deserving team of professionals! There will be no staff in either of the two offices to conduct business or answer phones during this time. While we're away, if you have a medical emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. If you feel you are in crisis and need immediate help, please call the Ga Crisis and Access Line at 1-800-715-4225 where mobile crisis counselors/therapists can come directly to you, OR you can go to your nearest Emergency Receiving Facility (Middle Flint Behavioral Health in Warner Robins, River Edge Crisis Stabilization Unit in Macon, or Piedmont Hospital in Macon). You can also contact 988 or go to your nearest Emergency Room. Thank you for your understanding and we hope you, too, have a nice Fall Break! We will see you again beginning Monday, October 19, 2026. Kind Regards, Taryn Werner

We now have a supply of ground beef available upon request (up to 2 lbs). You can come in and request the meat Mon-Weds from 8 am - 8 pm and Thursday from 8 am - 6 pm.
Werner Behavioral Health Center has their Community Cupboard made possible for the people in our community by donations of supplies only. No monetary gifts accepted or allowed, which means we know our goal of Unity In Our Community BY Our Community can happen without any fear of "Where'd the money I gave go?!" or "The cupbard is empty today, what do they do with the money they get?"
A lot of people ask what is needed most. Well, we often get requests for formula, diapers, Pullups, etc., so if that is something you have and don't know what to do with... here's a great place to drop it off at :) Our Community Cupboard sits outside of our Quail Run location, at 237 Smithville Church Rd Suite 200 WR, Ga 31088

*Our Commitment to Ethical, Patient-Centered Care*

It has recently been brought to our attention that there may be concerns regarding the number of patients we refer to other agencies or to a higher level of care.

We want to take a moment to address this directly.

Yes, we are a business—but we are also healthcare professionals who take our ethical responsibilities very seriously. We will never allow financial considerations to outweigh what is in the best interest of the people we serve.

Our commitment is to make sure every patient receives the right services, at the right level of care, and the quality of care they deserve.

We genuinely care about our patients. While we have tremendous confidence in the knowledge, skills, and professional abilities of our clinical team, we also recognize that there are times when a patient's needs may extend beyond the services we currently provide in our office.

When that happens, referring a patient to another provider or to a higher level of care is not a failure, it is responsible, ethical clinical practice.

Some of the services that may require referral include, but are not limited to Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), Crisis Intervention Services, Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), Intensive Family Intervention (IFI) Services, Other specialized or higher levels of care.

Our goal is never simply to “keep” a patient. Our goal is to help each person receive the care that best meets their individual needs, even when that means connecting them with another provider or agency we have vetted and trust.

We believe that advocating for our patients sometimes means recognizing when they need something different or more intensive than we provide at this time.

That is what ethical, compassionate care looks like.

If you have questions or concerns about our referral process or why a referral may be recommended, please reach out. Our Clinical Director or Administrative Director would be happy to speak with you and address your concerns, and can be reached at (478) 333-2560.

At Werner Behavioral Health Center, your well-being comes first. Always.

Our newest therapist, Stephanie Gray had the best compliment from her patient's mother today! The mom explained to me (Clinical Director) how her child LOVED coming to therapy every week!
Not everyone comes every week, and some kiddos simply do not want to go to therapy at all, because change is HARD! But these kinds of comments from parents make our days!
Stephanie, thank you for choosing to work with us! We couldn't be happier having you as an awesome member of our team! You Rock!
