Hi, I’m Jordan Williams, a certified doula with over six years of experience supporting families across Northwestern Pennsylvania and the surrounding areas.

Whether you’re preparing to welcome your first baby, growing your family, or navigating the difficult experience of loss, I’m here to provide compassionate, personalized care every step of the way.

In addition to doula services, I also help provide essential items to local families in need—such as yoga balls, pregnancy pillows, breast pumps, diapers, clothing, and more.

Right now, our community is facing an added challenge with the closure of our local maternity ward, making it harder for many families to access the support and resources they need. I’m asking for small donations to help continue providing these essential items and services to families in the Warren area who need them most.

Every contribution, no matter the size, helps ensure that no family has to navigate pregnancy, birth, or postpartum without support.

✨ Exciting News from JC Doula Services ✨

We are thrilled to announce that JC Doula Services will soon be opening at our new location! Our goal is to create a warm, supportive space where expecting mothers, children, and families feel welcomed, cared for, and empowered.

At our new location, we will be offering:

• Donations and essential items for expecting mothers, children, and families in need
• A selection of carefully chosen items available for purchase to support pregnancy, postpartum, and family wellness
• Reproductive health and family resources to help guide and support you at every stage of your journey and not just pregnancy!! We support Men’s Reproductive Health too!!!
• Pelvic floor education classes along with a variety of other pregnancy and postpartum classes designed to support your body and wellbeing
• Doppler heartbeat listening sessions available for expecting families

We are also excited to share that we plan to welcome a licensed ultrasound technician to our team this June, allowing us to expand the supportive services we offer to our community.

At JC Doula Services, our mission is to provide compassionate care, education, and resources so families feel supported every step of the way.

Dr. Janell Green Smith 🕊️
DNP, CNM, APRN

Dr. Janell Green Smith was a Black Midwife who dedicated her life to improving Black Maternal Health Outcomes. Dr. Janell spoke out about what brought her to midwifery, how maternal mortality rates in this country were mostly preventable, & how Black women should not have to fear death in birth.

The news that Dr. Janell Green Smith has tragically died during childbirth is absolutely heartbreaking ❤️‍🩹

We grieves her death as a systemic failure and injustice. Our hearts go out to her family, friends, & the midwifery community.

Say her name loud. Dr. Janell Green Smith should be here. Black women deserve to give birth without fear, with dignity & safety, she deserves to be here today.

TW!⚠️ : My Birthing Story along with when my Uterus Ruptured 27 days later. (Graphic Details and Photos!)

For those who have read my birthing story last year already know how truly thankful and lucky I am to have experienced the birth of my second child in such a beautiful way. I was in active labor for three hours and pushed her out in one minute, no epidural. I had a little bath, an amazing doula, I grabbed my baby out of me and put her on my chest. All things I will cherish forever. I gave birth December 20th 2024

However I did start to hemorrhage and they gave me a pill to stop it. This happened with my first as well. With my second my Placenta looked really weird and ripped after it came out of me.

I was able to go home after a day I didn’t think to much of it because during my pregnancy everything was mostly normal other than in my uterus her cord was wrapped around her. (Terrifying Still) . I felt fine to go home.

A week goes by and I start breaking out in this weird rash that I never had in my life. Never had Hives. My skin has never had issues in that manner I knew something was wrong and absolutely no doctor or obgyn in Warren could figure it out.

I continued to go about my life , caring for a new born when one day on January 15th 2025 I started to hemorrhage again and it started to feel like contractions. I go into Warren ER where they figured out I still have left over Placenta stuck in my Uterus they gave me options of a pill or a D&C. I chose the D&C because the pill previously did not work. They go in and scrape my uterus. I was in the hospital that night and day and returned home on the 17th. That night I woke up in such excruciating pain I thought I was going to die. It felt like I was giving birth over and over and over again. I start bleeding out again. I call my mom and I rush over to the hospital. At this point I’m puking and on the floor crying and screaming .
They give me morphine after morphine for hours and hours on end trying to figure out the problem while trying to manage my pain. They did another CT scan and saw I was bleeding into my abdomen, that there was a hole in my uterus now. They try pitocin . They move me up to maternity while they are trying to figure out options. This whole time I’m puking and even sh****ng bile/blood. We start to discuss a hysterectomy and other options while still in uncontrollable pain. I get up to use the toilet again and I pass out. I come to with my sister in my face telling me to sign this sign this. At this point my Uterus has ruptured inside me, I am filling up with blood and it comes down to the minutes and actions of my doctors infront of me to save my life. I had not one … not two…. FIVE blood transfusion and one iron transfusion meaning I lost around 2.3–2.5 liters of blood, roughly 40–60% of my total blood volume. I had an emergency hysterectomy. Later on they told me when further blood work came back, I had Placenta accreta- a serious condition where the placenta grows too deeply into the uterine wall, causing severe bleeding when it tries to detach after birth amoung so many other complications. The ultrasound technicians fully missed it. I am lucky to have my ovaries but I will never be able to get pregnant again. Grieving this has been hard. Taking care of two children while going through this has been hard. Being a Doula while healing I have faced so many new challenges and with a year almost coming up to these life changing events I have decided to share my story in more detail hoping it may bring comfort to those who have experienced the similar circumstances or just further education on how important it is to look into your health especially before and after pregnancy.

I am thankful to be alive for my children and myself, to still be a Doula and to be going to the gym , to be working on things physically and Mentally. Our bodies truly deserves this care after such a traumatic events I know mine still does... ✨
