Save the date!!

Save the Date for PROJECT WARMTH

As the temperatures drop, Johnson County United Way is hosting Project Warmth to help ensure individuals and families in our community have access to warm winter coats.

If you or a family member needs a warm coat this winter, we invite you to attend one of our distribution times. Coats are provided at no cost, and all Johnson County residents are welcome! Our goal is to help keep our neighbors warm and comfortable throughout the colder months.

Saturday, November 7th 8:00 AM–Noon

First Christian Church
101 E. Gay Street, Warrensburg, MO

If you or someone you know could use a little extra warmth this winter, please stop by! No appointment is needed. Winter coats will be available for all ages and sizes while supplies last.

Carlyle Van Lines for helping store and transport donations, ensuring the winter coats are ready for distribution.

RISE Community Services for their assistance with coat collection and helping gather donations for our community.

First Christian Church for generously donating the space to host this event.

And, of course, thank you to every donor, volunteer, and community member who contributes to this effort. Your generosity makes a real difference for local families!

LAST REMINDER: We are having our next vaccine clinic TOMORROW!

We are very excited to announce our next Vaccination Clinic is coming up on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and everyone is welcome!

***No appointment needed***

💳 We accept cash and cards only. Sorry, no checks. If you can pay with cash, it helps keep the line moving faster and avoids those pesky card processing fees.

🚫 Please do not enter the building unless directed by a staff member. We'll be bringing people in as space allows to keep things moving safely and efficiently.

⏰ The cutoff time to get in line is 2:30 p.m. If you're not in line by 2:30, we won't be able to guarantee service before the clinic ends.

Please remember to be patient with staff and your fellow pet owners so we can make things run as smoothly as possible. Let's continue to make the pets in our community happy and healthy! We hope to see you all there!

The countdown to Christmas Cheer has officially begun! ❤️ Applications for this year’s Christmas Cheer program will be accepted on the following dates:
📅 Tuesday, October 6 | 5–8 p.m.
📅 Sunday, October 11 | 1–5 p.m.
📅 Saturday, October 17 | 1–5 p.m.
📅 Tuesday, October 20 | 10 a.m.–3 p.m.
📅 Sunday, October 25 | 1–5 p.m.
📍 First United Methodist Church, Warrensburg
Please use the back entrance and look for the BIG SNOWMAN! ⛄
📣WHO CAN SIGN UP?
Children 0-18 years that reside in Johnson County (Child can only be signed up by the custodial parent/guardian)
📋 REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
Please bring ONE of the following:
• Photo ID
• Copy of your lease
• Current utility bill
AND ONE of the following:
• EBT card
• WIC card
• Child’s Medicaid card
• Current pay stub
📚 Flyers with all the information will be coming home in students’ backpacks soon and are also included in the comments below.
