Noticing something? Here’s when it’s worth taking a closer look.
You know your child best. These are patterns—not diagnoses.
Early support doesn’t mean something is wrong. It means you’re giving your child what they need—when it matters most.

Take a closer look if your baby:
• Isn’t lifting their head during tummy time
• Doesn’t roll by 6 months
• Isn’t sitting independently by 8 months
• Appears very stiff or very floppy
• Avoids movement or exploration

If you’ve been wondering whether your child could benefit from support, we’re here to help you figure that out—no pressure, just clarity.

Occupational therapy helps children participate in everyday life.

That includes:
• Dressing, feeding, and daily routines
• Sensory processing and regulation
• Attention and play skills
• Fine motor skills like writing and using tools
• Emotional regulation and body awareness

OT looks at the whole child—how their body, brain, and environment work together.

General guidelines:
0–18 months: Avoid screens (except video chatting)
18–24 months: Very limited, high-quality content WITH a parent
2–5 years: ~1 hour/day of high-quality, interactive content

The key isn’t just how much—it’s:
• What they’re watching
• Who they’re watching with
• What it’s replacing

Try this:
If your child is using a screen, watch with them and talk about it.
→ “What’s happening?” “What do you think comes next?”
→ This turns passive viewing into active learning.

Safety comes before learning, every time. Before correcting, pause and help your child feel calm first.

Early support doesn’t mean something is wrong. It means you’re giving your child what they need—when it matters most.

Take a closer look if your baby:
• Keeps hands fi**ed most of the time after 3 months
• Doesn’t bring hands to mouth
• Doesn’t reach for toys by 5–6 months
• Has difficulty grasping or holding objects
• Uses one side significantly more than the other early on

If you’ve been wondering whether your child could benefit from support, we’re here to help you figure that out—no pressure, just clarity.
