Dr. Babar has been serving the Culpeper and surrounding communities practicing medicine for the last several years following the completion of his residency at the Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, Brooklyn, New York (Weill Medical College of Cornell University) in 2013. Originally from Pakistan, he earned his Medical degree from Allama Iqbal Medical College in Lahore. After graduation and internship, Dr. Babar decided to serve as a Government Medical Officer in the rural areas of Pakistan bringing much needed medical care to underprivileged areas. During his residency, Dr. Babar was awarded the best intern award and went on to become the Chief Resident of his Training Program - a testament to his academic and leadership prowess. Dr. Babar was instrumental in the publication of at least two clinical text books while serving as a research assistant during his internship. Dr. Babar also volunteered for the World Health Organization on a project to eradicate Polio while in Pakistan. Fluent in English, Urdu, Hindi, & Punjabi. In his free time, he loves sports and reading. Dr. Zareen Babar, a distinguished and well respected Family Practitioner from Culpeper County is proud to be joining her husband in their new venture to provide impeccable medical care to Fauquier County. Dr. Babar has been serving the Culpeper and surrounding communities practicing medicine for the last several years following the completion of her residency at the New York Medical College in 2009. Originally from Pakistan, she earned her Medical degree from Allama Iqbal Medical College in Lahore before immigrating to the United States to pursue her post graduate training. During her Residency, Dr. Babar received the prestigious Award for Excellence in Research and the Best Teacher Award. Dr. Babar worked in New York State for several years before relocating to Central Virginia. Mother of two, she enjoys interior decorating, cooking and traveling when time permits.
