📣Exciting updates to share! Our team is growing! 🥳 Please help me give a warm welcome to Miss Bailey!

From Bailey: “Hello everyone! My name is Bailey Chlebowski, and I am so excited to be a part of the team! I am originally from Bristow, Virginia, but moved to the Warrenton area at the beginning of my college career. I am a graduate of Longwood University with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education (Pre-K through 6th grade.) I look forward to pursuing a Master’s degree as I continue teaching! I absolutely adore working with children and have experience in many different areas involving students of all ages. I first began working as a babysitter and nanny, which sparked my passion for working with kids. Over the years, I have worked in two different daycare settings, caring for children. I loved being able to run summer camps, teach lessons, go on field trips, and serve as a positive role model for my students. I was later introduced to ABA therapy where I worked with a local company as a Behavioral Technician. During my time there, I built amazing relationships with children and helped support skills such as reading, writing, speaking, communication, and everyday independence skills. I stepped away from the position to focus on college, but I have always had a love for the field. Throughout college, I also gained valuable experience through practicum placements and tutoring students at the local elementary school in my college town. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to continue growing as an educator and build more meaningful relationships with both students and families!”

Yesterday, I was invited to provide a behavior management training for a local preschool, and I was truly honored to have been asked. (I work privately with a child who attends the school and have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the teachers and administration.) Preparing for the training was such a meaningful experience. I found myself reflecting on my own time as a preschool teacher almost 20 years ago and remembering the most challenging moments of our days.

During the training, I invited the teachers to share what they find most difficult in their classrooms, and I was so grateful for their openness and vulnerability. We had thoughtful discussions, and I genuinely appreciated the opportunity to encourage them and offer alternative strategies for responding to challenging behaviors.

I also found myself thinking back to my early years in education, working with children with special needs in daycare centers and preschools. Some of what I observed in certain settings led me to decide that I would never place my own children in a preschool or daycare without complete confidence that they were in a safe, nurturing, and loving environment. Over the past few years, I’ve had the privilege of observing many local classrooms and have experienced both inspiring and less than ideal environments.

Yesterday felt especially meaningful because it was an opportunity to support and equip teachers with tools to better understand and respond to challenging behaviors—ultimately helping to create calmer, more supportive, and adaptive environments for all children.

If you have a preschool aged child experiencing behavioral challenges, I would love to connect with you to offer support!
