✨ MEET NURSE JACKIE ✨

We are so excited to officially introduce Jacqueline Mercedes, RN, BSN (affectionately known as “Nurse Jackie”) and Skin Deep’s very first Injector in Residence! 🤍

Jackie brings nine years of nursing experience, a background in the U.S. military, and clinical experience spanning Progressive Care, Labor & Delivery, and concierge IV wellness. But beyond her impressive background, it was Jackie’s warmth, clinical judgment, eagerness to learn, and genuine passion for caring for others that made her stand out among an incredibly talented group of candidates.

As our first Injector in Residence, Jackie will be training directly under Heather Callahan, PA-C, through an intensive, highly individualized mentorship designed to teach far more than injection technique. She’ll be immersed in Heather’s approach to facial assessment, anatomy, safety, treatment planning, technique, complication management, and above all, creating thoughtful, natural results that are completely individualized to the patient.

Because at Skin Deep, we don’t believe in cookie-cutter aesthetics — and we certainly don’t believe in cookie-cutter training. ✨

And while Jackie continues developing her skills as an aesthetic injector, you’ll be seeing plenty of her around Skin Deep…

With her previous experience as a concierge IV nurse, Jackie will be leading our IV hydration and vitamin injection services, giving you the perfect midweek opportunity to hydrate, replenish, recharge, and feel your best.

Jackie is also continuing her education as a Family Nurse Practitioner student at George Mason University, while balancing her favorite roles as a wife and mom to two boys.

We are incredibly excited for this next chapter at Skin Deep and even more excited for all of you to get to know her. 🤎

One year ago today, Skin Deep Concierge Medicine officially opened its doors.

What started as a dream has become so much more than I ever imagined. Over the past year, we’ve celebrated incredible transformations, but the most meaningful ones haven’t just been in the mirror. They’ve been in the confidence restored, the milestones celebrated, the hugs after appointments, the tears, the laughter, and the relationships we’ve built along the way.

Somewhere along the way, we were taught that getting older meant becoming less beautiful. I don’t believe that for a second.

At 24, I had youth.

At 40, I have a stronger sense of self.
I know who I am.
I know what matters.
I’ve learned that taking care of myself isn’t vanity—it’s self-respect.

As an aesthetic provider, my goal has never been to make patients look younger. It’s to help them look like the very best version of themselves at every stage of life.

Because beauty doesn’t disappear with age. If anything, it becomes more authentic.
