Dr. Chris' Words:
Had a man come to see me not long ago and when I walked into the exam room, he looked concerned. "What can I do for you today, sir?" I asked.
"Doc, I can't seem to focus or concentrate well," he said. "I feel like I'm never completing anything. I'm pretty sure I got ACDC. Can you prescribe something for it?"
"I know what you mean, because, like you, I have AC/DC too!" I exclaimed with a big smile, "I can't concentrate or get anything done when I listen to them either! Their music sure is addictive."
My joke must have been lost on him, because, with a confused and somewhat irritated look on his face, he asked, "So does this mean you can help me or not?"
"I was joking with you," I said with a smile, though I was a bit sad that my Dad joke went over his head. Maybe he just wasn't a fan. Oh well, his loss, I thought. "Of course we can help you with your ADHD." I told him. "Have you tried anything for it so far?"
"Well, I've tried turning the music down, but no matter how quietly I play AC/DC, I can't concentrate enough to get much of anything done. All I wanna do is rock out and play my air guitar!" he said with a wink and a smile.
Played me like a lead guitar, that he did!
