The hateful, homophobic, and straight up incorrect signage circulating the internet is completely unacceptable… so we decided to offer a corrected version 🥰🌈

Everyone is always welcomed at Whitley County Pride, and though this is an extremely disappointing and hurtful message to people both inside and outside of our community, we will stop at nothing to do everything we can to support LGBTQ+ parents, couples, families, and friends.

Please know you’ve always got a safe place to land at Whitley County Pride, and we request that the organization Them Before Us reconsiders the messages they wish to share with the world and consider uplifting all families and supporting all children, regardless of who is raising them. That’s what our children deserve: unconditional love and unbiased support no matter who is loving them.
